Despite a final surge up the leaderboard by round 4 winner George Clark, John Nash held onto top spot in the table to win the 2009 All-Night Carp Series. A total of 52 fish were banked in all 4 rounds. Sean Clark won the biggest fish prize with a 19lb 12oz Carp in round 1. Thanks to George and Ian for running the series. John Nash stays at the top of the leaderboard after coming first with 3 fish totalling 41lb 8oz from peg 5. Sean Clark was again runner-up with 4 fish for 38lb 12oz from peg 2. Matt Smith came third with 3 fish for 30lb 14oz from peg 8. A total of 17 fish were banked during the match, with John Nash landing the biggest at 15lb 3oz.

John Nash moved to the top of the leaderboard with 5 fish totalling 50lb from peg 2, the same swim as George's victory in Round 1. Sean Clark was runner-up with 3 fish for 25lb 4oz from peg 8. Ian Tucker came in third with a single fish of 9lb 2oz from peg 12. Mark Hazledean took fourth place with an 8lb 10oz fish from peg 5. Four other anglers blanked.

A closely-fought match which saw just 7lb separate the top 4 anglers. George took the honours with 35lb from peg 2. One solitary ounce separated John Nash and Sean Clark in second and third. Sean also banked the biggest fish of the night at 19lb 12oz.
Several of the Association's waters are near overhead power lines carrying up to 132,000 volts. These lines are within reach of rods and poles. Members must maintain a safe fishing distance and must NOT carry assembled rods or poles under these power lines. Always look up.
The next Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 2nd October 2017 at Keynsham Cricket Club, 7:30pm prompt. All Members are eligible to attend.
