Biggest Fish - George Clark - 14lb 3oz
After a mild start to the day and several fish being caught from all over the lake, the weather changed for the worst, a very heavy rain and then a heavy frost on the night, making the sport difficult, with none of the big fish being caught. Even so 10 anglers battled it out to land a total of 65 fish.
In first place was George Clark with 16 fish from peg 6 for a total of 96lb 10oz. George also landed the biggest Carp of the Match at 14lb 3oz, and also set a new Bream P.B. with a 9lb 2oz specimen. In second place was Nic Fox with 66lb 4oz from peg 15. Mark came third with a total of 59lb 4oz from peg 14.
Keynsham A.A. would like to thank Shiplate Fisheries for their very kind hospitality and making us feel very welcome at their venue. It seemed as if they couldn't do enough for us - even after the Match they made us tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Many thanks.

Fishing a cold north easterly wind for nearly all of the Match, the fishing was very hard, but Sean Clark came up trumps catching the biggest resident in the pond for a respectable 29lb 4oz, and banking a new P.B. and club Carp record. However he could only manage second place.
Nick Fox - fishing up behind the island on peg 4 - managed to take two fish which give him the win and moves him closer to catching George on top spot, who came in third with a single fish of 16lb 12oz from peg 7.

In first place was Ian Tucker with 14lb 8oz from peg 3. Ian banked the biggest combined Series weight to win the 2012 Series.
