Keynsham Angling Association was founded in 1903 and currently offers Coarse and Game fishing to over 450 Members at Century Ponds, on five miles of the River Chew and around five miles of the Bristol Avon. All anglers are eligible to become Members of the Association.

• KAA licences and day tickets can now be purchased at Go Outdoors, Brislington, and J.P. Angling of Kingswood. See the Day Tickets page for a full list of outlets and for details of Platinum membership upgrades.
• Please note that Zubs Keynsham will still be selling KAA day tickets and licences, but please bring the correct money (cash only) and be patient if the cafe is busy.
• Although there is a tape fence around field 21 on the Mill Ground (first field upstream of Albert Mill), it is still accessible to anglers. Members should not remove or take down fencing posts or the tape under any circumstances.
• Keepnets are only allowed for silver fish at Century Ponds. No Carp to be kept in nets.
• A list of 2023 working party dates for Century Ponds and the River Chew can be found below. Anyone attending will be given a free day ticket or can stay and fish for free on the day.

Working Party Dates • Century Ponds And River Chew
|
We have now announced a number of working party dates at Century Ponds and River Chew for 2023. Each day will start at 10am, and will be either on a Wednesday, Thursday or a weekend.
Work at the ponds will include ground clearance, hedge trimming, grass cutting, peg maintenance and other work needed throughout the year. It's likely to be a few hours each date and anyone attending will be given a free day ticket or can stay and fish for free on those dates.
There will also be some dates on the River Chew to do some clearance. Tea and coffee available, as will all the tools needed. All are welcome. Thanks.
Working party dates for 2023 are as follows:
Wednesday 22nd February, Wednesday 29th March, Thursday 27th April, Wednesday 24th May, Thursday 22nd June, Saturday 29th July, Wednesday 30th August, Thursday 28th September, Wednesday 25th October and Thursday 30th November.

Information about the current water levels on our local rivers:

Safety Advice
|
Several of the Association's waters are near overhead power lines carrying up to 132,000 volts. These lines are within reach of rods and poles. Members must maintain a safe fishing distance and must NOT carry assembled rods or poles under these power lines. Always look up.
